Master Astrologer Certification
Graduates of The 8th & Poppy Mentorship Program are eligible to become an 8th & Poppy Certified Master Astrologer!
As an 8th & Poppy Certified Master Astrologer, you will:
Practice permission-based astrology, providing meaningful counsel that helps clients understand their life circumstances and empowers them to embrace all parts of themselves.
Have a profound understanding of astrological principles, including planetary movements, houses, aspects, and their symbolic (interpretive) meanings.
Balance technical skill and knowledge with intuition and empathy, moving beyond complex charts to offer clear, heartfelt, and accurate insights that avoid fear-mongering.
Translate complex information into accessible, accurate, and insightful conversations that promote self-awareness without overwhelming clients with jargon.
Feel confident speaking to charts on the fly and answering any client questions that arise during a reading.
Be eligible to apply for 8th & Poppy’s internal team of astrologers.
Requirements
In order to be certified, you must:
Graduate from The 8th & Poppy Mentorship Program and complete all courses.
Be confident giving live readings in the 8th & Poppy style.
Pass a Chart Skills Assessment, Oral Exam, and submit 3 recordings of live Natal Chart Readings for review.

Certification Exam
Graduates of The 8th & Poppy Mentorship Program are eligible to take the Master Astrologer Certification Exam. Those who pass receive a certification of completion and an 8th & Poppy Master Astrologer badge.
The exam consists of a written astrology skills assessment, a 60-minute oral exam, and the submission of 3 recorded live Natal Chart readings (60 minutes each) for review.
Certification Program
Graduates of The 8th & Poppy Mentorship Program who are interested in becoming an Certified Master Astrologer but would like additional mentorship before taking the exam can enroll in our 12-week Master Astrologer Certification Program.
This is a practical, hands-on program designed to increase your knowledge and skills, improve the quality of your live readings, and grow your confidence as an astrologer.
